Your computer has been locked – fake police warning

Today many systems around the world suffer from a serious virus infection called ransomware. Often it is also referred to by some users as the police virus. Why is it so? First of all, you must know that it has nothing to do with the police and other law enforcement bodies. This is the ransomware application that locks (blocks) the computer’s desktop and then asks users to pay certain amount of funds in order to unlock it. In fact, most often the scary message is presented in such a manner that it allegedly looks as the police notification or warning. But, of course, this is the trap into which many users often step.
