Antivirus Monitor stands for the next representatives from the malicious clan including such viruses as Antimalware GO and AntiVira AV. This is why it is relatively similar to both of them. Speaking about its actual goals – they are all the same – that is to trick as many users as possible and to get money from them by giving nothing good in response.
Antivirus Monitor is a fake anti-virus program masking its actual goals by means of pretending to be some reputable anti-virus. However, the truth of the fact is that Antivirus Monitor is a rogue program, cause it forces you to pay for it, even though it does not give you what it claims to give – PC protection, security and freedom from all kinds of viruses. However, the truth of the fact is that it is a virus by itself. Various tricks are used in order to penetrate inside of the attacked machine. They include various trojans that can be brought inside of the attacked PC during browsing of unsafe sites. This penetration to computers takes place due to leaks in the system security and other available system vulnerabilities. Upon successful infiltration of this virus user faces plenty of popup ads and fictitious scans claiming the availability of thousands of infections inside of user’s PC. No doubt, Antivirus Monitor scam would offer itself as a remedy for elimination of all supposedly detected threats and viruses. At the same time, it would first ask you pay for its full licensed version as a provision for removal of all threats. I followed your manual comments as I was hesitant to download the file. If you follow the manual comments, make sure to restart your computer first, get into system, uncheck system restore(turn off system restore), then restart your computer in safe mode. The instructions worked great though.
