At this very moment there is an e-mail message circulating in the Web, having the header as "Fw: AFP Photo News: Bloody Photos: Libya dictator Moammar Gadhafi's Death". The message body has the information about the death of Gaddafi being allegedly notified by Agence France-Presse. However, the letter has RAR-archive attached which, allegedly, contains the dictator’s postmortal pictures. After certain user “unpacks” the archive the trojan malware program is installed onto his/her computer. It is classified by several anti-virus companies as Mal/Behav-103. According to our information this trojan horse exists since at least 2007 and attacks computers only with Windows operating system installed. In this connection we would like to take this opportunity to remind our users about the rules of the Internet safety. Do not click the links contained in e-mails and do not open suspicious attachments, especially if the message sender is not known to you. The approach of using the popular news for spreading unwanted messages is the common practice of the Internet frauds. For example, in the year 2009 the death of Michael Jackson, the pop singer, caused the huge spam traffic and a tremendous number of malware links spreading in the Web. So, be careful with what you open and browse.
